UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou, has hit back at WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, as the duo traded jabs on Twitter. ‘The Predator’ recently said that he intends to crossover to boxing and ‘The Gypsy King’ was among his choice opponents.

Ngannou recently went to Mike Tyson’s Hotboxin’ Podcast and a photo of him with ‘Iron’ surfaced. Fury took notice of Ngannou’s words and took to social media to warn ‘The Predator’. He promised to take care of Ngannou after he finishes with Anthony Joshua.

‘The Predator’ replied with a picture of a bloodied Fury during his fight against Otto Wallin. ‘The Gypsy King‘ suffered a nasty cut over his eye during the fight. The UFC champion wrote, “If this guy did this to you, what do you think I would do?

Will Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou ever happen?

It remains to be seen if the two titans collide in the boxing ring. MMA stars switching to boxing has become a trend recently since Conor McGregor made the biggest switch of all time in 2017 to take on the undefeated Floyd Mayweather. Fighters like Ben Askren, Frank Mir, Anderson Silva are also due to make their boxing debuts soon.

Ngannou is currently enjoying the peak of his stardom in his UFC career. He finally achieved his dream of becoming the UFC heavyweight champion after he emphatically knocked out Stipe Miocic. Meanwhile, Fury has signed a two-fight deal with AJ for the undisputed heavyweight championship.

Given their status as the heavyweight champions of their respective disciplines, it would be fascinating to see the monumental duo square off inside the boxing ring.
