Ryan Garcia is gearing up for his upcoming fight against Devin Haney in April. He will have the opportunity to win the WBC super lightweight title, which ‘The Dream’ had won in his last fight. Meanwhile, Garcia has been busy training and even taking time to talk to people online, which caught the attention of Israel Adesanya.

Israel Adesanya has a question for Ryan Garcia

In a recent Instagram livestream, Ryan Garcia appeared to be talking to his fans about something when Israel Adesanya’s message popped up on the chat. He seems to have noticed that ‘KingRy’ walking inside his house while he was addressing his fans. That led him to ask a question to the 25-year-old boxing sensation. “Where’s he walking to[?],” asked Adesanya.

Garcia quickly noticed the question and at first, greeted Israel Adeanya. He then proceeded to explain why he was walking, claiming that it helped him while talking. “Yo Izzy! What’s f***ing good? I’m just walking bro. Like walking in circles. I like to walk when I talk,” responded Ryan Garcia. After he answered that question, ‘KingRy’ shared some words of praise that people weren’t expecting.

Ryan Garcia is a fan of Israel Adesanya. Given that Adesanya’s trash talk and antics often show his love for cartoon characters and anime, ‘KingRy’ claimed to love the Kiwi fighter’s ‘Frozen like Elsa’ line he said after he won the rematch against Alex Pereira at UFC 287, becoming a two-time middleweight champion. Garcia further stated, I like Izzy. He’s funny. He’s frozen like Elsa. That’s hilarious.”

That said, Israel Adesanya is a polarizing figure. While some love his trash talk and antics, others don’t. Nevertheless, Ryan Garcia expressed his disdain towards the haters and sided with ‘The Last Stylebender’. “Everybody thought that was cringe. That sh*t was not cringe. That’s funny,” Garcia added.

Ryan Garcia himself, on the other hand, has been making questionable statements as of late. He has even been asked to take a mental health evaluation test by the New York State Athletic Commission. It remains to be seen what the outcome of that evaluation will be as we wait to see if Garcia can beat Devin Haney after bouncing back from the Gervanta Davis with a win over Oscar Duarte in his last fight.
