After conquering UFC’s bantamweight division, Sean O’Malley has now set his eyes on the sport of boxing. For a long time, ‘Sugar’ has been publicly discussing the idea of competing in a boxing ring against big names like Gervonta Davis. Now, just after his UFC 292 title win, O’Malley once again called out ‘Tank’.

Further, O’Malley questioned the idea of fighting Garcia after his defeat, emphasizing that he prefers to face opponents who are currently winning.
“Why you trying to pick a fight with me? I called him out before he lost to Gervonta. Then he lost to Gervonta! Why would I fight him? He is a loser, I am fighting winners,” the UFC bantamweight champ said. “It’s like dude, ‘I don’t want to fight you, you lost’. I am trying to do big pay-per-views. Floyd, Gervonta….” he added.
Is O’Malley vs. Davis going to happen?
In the UFC 292 post-fight conference, O’Malley offered insights into his future aspirations. The champion acknowledged the curiosity surrounding his next move but emphasized that his approach extended beyond staying confined to a particular path.
