Ngannou, during his time in the UFC, really gave fans what they wanted – brutal force coupled with skills and precision. A nightmare opponent for just about anybody, Ngannou was the biggest name in the division until he fell out with Dana White. He then moved to the PFL in the hopes of a better deal. Now, he finds himself in a boxing ring against one of the sport’s greatest.

Jon Jones can wait – Fury and Ngannou settle it first

The news that Tyson Fury, Francis Ngannou, and Jon Jones have been beefing amongst themselves is not news. Ngannou and Jones were originally the ‘super-fight’ that UFC was planning to put their chips on. However, with Ngannou’s move to PFL, nobody was left to challenge Jones for the HW title. Ciryl Gane was a challenge, but Jones made quick work of him. The beef between Ngannou and Jones continued.

Jones then got involved in a ‘social situation’ between WBC Champion and UFC commentator Joe Rogan. This led to Jones and Fury beefing, making way for fight rumors that eventually fizzled out.

In addition to all this, Jones recently ran into Francis Ngannou at a PFL event. The two had a face-off, but no news about a fight has been heard. Now, Tyson Fury, looking for his opponent, finds Ngannou as the ‘big fight’ for him next.
