After making a splash on the bare-knuckle boxing scene with his antics at BKFC 41, Conor McGregor is turning his attention back to boxing. ‘The Notorious’ one took a shot at rival and undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather in a recent tweet. McGregor intends to get the job done in a second fight against Mayweather; something he failed to do back in 2017. His comment comes right after American gangster John Gotti’s warning for Mayweather.

McGregor versus Mayweather was a one-of-a-kind fight as two world champions from two different sports met in the squared circle. The two biggest stars of their respective sports went to war in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Mayweather had extended his winning streak to 50-0 after scoring a TKO win over The Irishman in the 10th round. The two have been occasionally chirping online and taking shots at each other ever since. Now, talks of a second fight are going around and McGregor has made another audacious comment about the same on Twitter.

A fan on Twitter recently shared a clip from the first Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather fight. This tweet caught the eye of ‘Mystic Mac’ who made a comment of his own along with a prediction for a potential second fight.

McGregor wrote, “Round 9. I was playing ping pong with this guys head in there at many times in this fight.” He continued, “If you don’t think there is some real nice adjustments that can be made and implemented in a second fight, to get the job finished, you’re silly.”

Even though these are fighting words, McGregor and Mayweather are a long way from fighting each other a second time. The 34-year-old is waiting on a date for his UFC return against Michael Chandler. Meanwhile, season 31 of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ featuring the two will air at the end of May.

Floyd Mayweather’s next bout is against John Gotti III, grandson of the infamous American gangster John Gotti. The bout is scheduled for June 11. Incidentally, Gotti III also had a warning for Mayweather ahead of their June meeting. He said, “June 11, I’m bringing bad intentions to that man. I don’t care if it’s an exhibition or not. You signed to fight me; there’s no quarter. It’s kill or be killed.”

What do you think of these warnings to Mayweather? Do you think either McGregor or John Gotti III can finally take his ‘0’? Do you think May-Mac will happen for a second time?
