Francis Ngannou became the UFC Heavyweight Champion at UFC 260 last weekend. ‘The Predator’ scored an emphatic 2nd-round knockout finish to dethrone the consensus greatest heavyweight of all time.

Speculations of a potential next opponent for the champion have started already. A fight against Jon Jones is on top of every fan’s wishlist.

However, Ngannou is ready to take on all comers. Besides keeping a hold of his belt, ‘The Predator’ has bigger aspirations. He wants to pursue his dreams of becoming a professional boxer and wants to fight the heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury. ‘The Gypsy king’ holds multiple world titles at the moment.

“Obviously, just you have to remember that my whole train in my entire life. And that’s wheat even led me here was boxing. I didn’t know MMA on like, 8 years and have a 7 years or 8 years ago, when I went in France didn’t have any idea about MMA. It was all about boxing,” said Ngannou.

So I still have this dream inside of me. Even though I did deviate by MMA will give me the opportunity that I didn’t have at that time. So, but I still have this dream that needs to be like accomplished. So I will definitely at some point,” he added further.

Ngannou has scary power. The Cameroonian is considered the heaviest puncher ever to have entered the UFC Octagon. However, utilizing that power against Fury is a whole different ball game. ‘The Gypsy King’ is as elusive a fighter as they come.

Fury is currently set to take on the other boxing Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua in a 2-fight series. So, he won’t be concentrating on any other name in near future. However, a special bout remains a possibility.

UFC fighters have a brief history of crossover to the sport of boxing before. Conor McGregor is the most famous fighter to enter the squared ring.

Frank Mir and Ben Askren will soon make their debuts in the sport. So, the possibility of Ngannou wearing those boxing gloves remains a possibility.
