With this win over Lopez, Ali Walsh is now on a 6-fight winning streak and this might be the time for him to go professional.

Just before the fight, Ali Walsh claimed that if he secured the victory against Lopez, he might consider going pro. “God willing, I put this guy to sleep in November, and I’m going to sit down with my coach and see what he thinks is next,” said Ali Walsh in an interview.

He further explained that he was too young for the game and would let his coach decide if he was ready. “I like to listen to him, I’m still a baby. He has so much more knowledge than I do. This is not a sport to rush in, but personally, if you were to just ask me individually, I think after this next fight I get the win, God willing, I think I’ll be ready to go pro.”

Walsh faced a setback in his initial fora͏y into amateur competition, but he has swiftly disman͏tled his last five opponen͏ts, securing victories in all instances by stoppage. During the conversation, the fighter emphasized that MMA saved him from the unhealthy lifestyle he was going through. He emphasized that being a native of Las Vegas had a very bad influence on him and he didn’t like that. Ali Walsh claimed that he never liked the way his life was headed, he became depressed and would often cry at night and that’s when he took the initiative to change his life. “I just told myself, ‘You know what? I’m only 22 years old, I’m just going to go for it and see how far I can go into the sport of MMA,”  said Ali Walsh.
