Conor McGregor came into the limelight after Jake Paul defeated his rival, Nate Diaz, inside the squared circle. While the entire world of combat sports enthusiasts was drenched in the YouTuber turned boxer’s sweet victory, ‘The Notorious’ sent out bashings on Twitter. Soon, the tweets began speculations of the former UFC champion going against Paul.
Although many sided with the UFC star, Jorge Masvidal declared that the boxer might defeat McGregor, if the two ever faced each other. But the predictions came along with some severe words aimed at ‘Mystic Mac’. Even Paul added to those speculations and claimed that McGregor should visit a rehabilitation center.

Jorge Masvidal’s surprise verdict for Jake Paul vs. Conor McGregor
During a conversation with Brendan Schaub and Bryan Callen, on episode 915 of ‘The Fighter and The Kid’, Masvidal opened up on his views regarding the recent fight between Diaz and Paul. Although the episode was shot prior to the anticipated matchup, the former BMF title holder stood in support of Paul.
Thereafter, the talks led to a discussion about McGregor fighting Paul, if the boxer defeated Diaz. ‘Gamebred’ declared, “Yeah, maybe they can make that happen, you know. And sh*t, as much as I never would have thought this would have happened, Jake might beat him…”
He further attacked the Irish fighter and accused him of being a dr*g addict. He said, “Jake is out there training, not doing dr*gs, not being a part of that f**king vicious lifestyle this guy is like.” Without a doubt, the ‘Gamebred Fighter’ was completely stoic in his support for ‘The Problem Child’.

The war between Paul and ‘The Notorious’
McGregor entered the scene way before Diaz and Paul fought each other. During the post-fight press conference, ‘The Problem Child’ was asked about a tweet by McGregor that read, “F**k this, sweetie what’s up”.

However, Paul went ahead and declared, “I don’t care about that guy. Yeah, he needs to go to rehab.” But that wasn’t the end of it. In a now-deleted tweet, ‘Mystic Mac’ lashed out at Diaz and Paul. The fighter believed that it was like watching a fight in rewind. He further claimed that it was nothing but garbage.
