Jake Paul won the bout against Nate Diaz and Paul promised that their rematch would be happening in a MMA arena. It’s been months and there’s been no sign of the match happening. Paul and his team accuse Diaz is not letting the fight happen.

While involved in a recent interaction with Ariel Helwani, Paul explained that Diaz was just moving away from the fights by giving absurd reasons. “I’m not sure if I’d use the word “close.” I think there was a point where there was genuine interest from his team in making it happen, and then there was just radio silence after that.” Said Jake Paul.

He further added “Now he’s calling it the PFL and all this stuff. It’s like, okay, bro, you either want to make this happen or not. He’s saying, “Oh, we’ll do it under real fight.” That’s not a real thing, by the way. We taught them about the business, and how to run their operation, and we let them put their logos on the mat. They don’t have a promotion. They don’t have any infrastructure. They don’t have the funding to make any event possible.

Paul in the end stated that Diaz is just hiding behind the notion that he doesn’t want to fight in the PFL. Paul asserted that Diaz might need money in the future and for that he would have to fight and he is always ready to take on Diaz whenever possible.

Nate Diaz is not too keen on the prospect of facing Paul in the PFL before their match and has consistently expressed his eagerness to make a comeback to the UFC soon. In a recent go-through, the fighter blatantly refused to fight under PFL’s banner and stated that Jake Paul was not a real fighter.

Diaz added a tweet and stated “I’m good I’d rather fight real fighters and never backtrack to minor leagues Pu**yfl fight urself dipshit” Diaz is keen on making his UFC return rather than having a rematch with Jake Paul. Nonetheless, it is not sure whether there will be a rematch.
