‘The Problem Child’ raked in the big bucks from his three fights. He earned more than $40 million before taxes from boxing. He is even involved in a feud regarding fighter pay, and despite having everything he needs in life, is fighting hard for it. According to him, the fighter pay battle for him is about legacy. In an interview with Ariel Helwani, he talked about why it matters to him so much.

He said, “You know, I’ve said for a while and I realized this at an early age. There was a moment where I had a giant mansion and I had everything I wanted in life, that I dreamed about, and I was unhappy. I realized at that moment that life was more about purpose and passion and doing what you love every single day. And that’s going to be more fulfilling in the long run than it is about getting some big check.”

Jake Paul bought shares in UFC’s parent company

The infamous feud between Jake Paul and Dana White is not ending anytime soon. Paul has been taking shots at White for a very long time. The main reason for the feud is ‘The Problem Child‘ questioning the UFC president about fighter pay. Many fighters in the past have come out and complained about the fighter pay in the promotion, and that gave Paul the material.

It looks like the bad blood between the two is only going to increase. The undefeated boxer recently bought shares in UFC’s parent company, Endeavour Group Holdings, along with his investment partner Geoffrey Woo.

He also reached out to Engine No. 1, an impact investment group to get on board. According to Paul, there is a disparity between the revenue generated and the amount fighters get. Not so long ago, he had issued a challenge to Dana White as well. In the challenge, he vowed to quit boxing and sign a one-fight contract with the UFC. But only if he increased the per fight pay of the fighters and share 50 percent annual revenue with the fighters.
