The upcoming 155 lbs title fight between Michael Chandler and Charles Oliveira at UFC 262 has urged YouTube-boxer Jake Paul to dive into the conversation. Although he holds no relevance in the matchup, Paul still revealed his pick for the new UFC lightweight champion.

The 24-year-old, who goes after the UFC fighters on social media often, appears to be a keen follower of the sport who will clearly watch the PPV live this weekend. In an interaction with former MMA veteran Chael Sonnen, ‘The Problem Child’ made his prediction and surprised a lot of fans.
“I got Chandler,” said Jake Paul, who explained why he picked the former Bellator MMA champion over Charles Oliveira.
“I think Chandler has got this beast mode inside of him and he has got that overhand right, I was expecting Dan Hooker to win. And he [Chandler] just ran through him,” said ‘The Problem Child’.
Michael Chandler is rightly an elite contender for the UFC gold. However, many believe that he received an easy road to the title. After dominating the Bellator roster, ‘Iron’ Chandler, who switched to the UFC, stopped Dan Hooker at UFC 257 to earn the title shot.

While Jake Paul has favored ‘Iron’ Chandler to win, Charles Oliveira can shatter all the plans. Relishing an eight-fight win streak, Oliveria had to walk through several elites to receive his first title shot in the promotion.
‘Do Bronx’ beat Tony Ferguson in his last fight. Now, he is one of the biggest threats at the 155 lbs roster. As he is equally efficient on feet and the ground, he can present Chandler with a stern test.
