A fight between Jake Paul and Sean Strickland is a matchup many would find difficult to comprehend. The former middleweight champion and the YouTuber turned-boxer have been grabbing each other’s tails as of now. ‘The Problem Child’ has called out ‘Tarzan’ for a fight and this seems to have touched a nerve for the dethroned ex-champ.

Paul wanted a fight in front of the whole world. However, Strickland went two steps further and called for a fight to the death in the middle of a desert. Dramatic enough? Strickland is serious, and yet seems like Paul is not keen on facing the madman of the middleweight division without cameras. Here’s all that had transpired.

Recently, Sean Strickland had a sparring session with the combat sports influencer, Sneako. Strickland was brutal in his take against Sneako. This seems to have irked the million-dollar Youtuber-turned-boxer, Jake Paul. The ‘Problem Child’ seems to having some issues with the way Strickland behaved inside the octagon against, Sneako.

‘The Problem Child’ aimed at the former middleweight champ by calling him out for a no-limit fight in front of the entire world. Paul challenged Strickland with a $1 million fight. “. I’ll fly you to PR and we can fight on camera… if you win I’ll give you $1 million (half your net worth) But if you get dropped you have to get Betr tattooed on you. DM me. But just like paddy I’m guessing you’ll find a way to run” tweeted Paul on X.

Strickland accepted the challenge; however, there was a catch. The former champion doesn’t give a damn about the amount of money Paul is willing to offer for the fight. Instead, Strickland is proposing a fight to the death in the middle of a desert. “Actually Jake I’ll make you a better deal because money can’t buy happiness and you have plenty of it and youre still a cunt……. No cameras, me and you in a desert…. That would buy my happiness… No Instagram, no likes, no games…. Just you that’s what I want”

Paul saw Strickland’s challenge and wasted no time in calling him insecure. The Influencer boxer took to X to further add fuel to the fire. Paul stated “Constantly talking about killing people, calling them scumbags or wishing them to die bc they don’t agree with your opinion reeks of insecurity, not of being a confident man. Be betr buddy.”  The anticipation is building up and the fight might be on but can they fight in a ring? Let’s find out.

Both Paul and Strickland are on a one-fight losing streak. Paul lost his bet against Tommy Fury, while Strickland lost his belt against Dricus Du Plessis. Paul has a stable career record in boxing against Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, and Tyron Woodley but is he ready to fight the current stars of the UFC? Well seems like it but the event of their matchup seems a bit far-fetched.

Jake Paul is prepping himself to fight against Ryan Bourland, not Sean Strickland, up next in Puerto Rico. On the other hand, Strickland is recovering from his brutal fight against Du Plessis. Nonetheless, the real elephant in the room is the UFC contract which refrains fighters from competing under any other platform without any joint promotion with UFC.
