

Michael Bisping spoke out on his podcast ‘Believe You Me’ and dropped some massive news for combat sports fans. ‘The Count’ revealed that YouTube star turned pro boxer Jake Paul contacted him to participate in a bout. The news didn’t come as much of a shock considering Bisping’s profile as a former UFC champion. Moreover, Jake Paul has spent the last few days vehemently chasing fights against MMA fighters.
‘The Problem Child’ Jake Paul and his brother Logan Paul have made a giant splash in the boxing realm as of late. Jake is fresh off a scintillating KO win over NBA veteran Nate Robinson that cemented him as a legitimate fighter. Additionally, Logan Paul is set to box all-time great Floyd Mayweather despite having a fraction of the experience.

Michael Bisping goes in on Jake Paul call-out
The Brit isn’t known to mince his words, and he went straight after Jake Paul to make the fight happen after he [Paul] made the call-out. He was sure to let Jake Paul know that he had a 0-0 record in boxing and that this was the call-out to follow through with.

“Jake Paul, if you want to f**king go, Logan Paul, if you want to go, then I guess you have to put your hands in your pockets and man up. Because you’re talking sh*t, you’re contacting my manager saying that you want to fight. Well, guess what, buddy? I’m here. I’m going nowhere. You want to fight someone? You want to test yourself? Hey, I’m 0-0 as a boxer. You’re saying you’re 1-0, you’re 2-0, I’m 0-0.”

Additionally, the 30-12 UFC veteran had warring words for Paul and promised to make an example of him. Bisping laid down the law by making it clear that Jake Paul wouldn’t see round number 4 in their contest.

“At the end of the day, if you want to do this, stop playing games. You want to do it? I’ll do it. I’m here. No problem. Okay? I’m almost 42-years old, I’m a former world champion and, I will take you to school, my friend. And I’ll guarantee you this. You won’t get out of three rounds.”

Despite the fact that Michael Bisping is a former champion with a huge profile, there’s no doubt a Jake Paul fight would be beneficial. The Paul brothers rule the roost of the internet and bring in a whole new fanbase to combat sports.
