In addition to his fighting skills, ‘The Baddy’ has exceptional mic skills. Therefore, given all these factors, he is often compared to the former two-division champion Conor McGregor. Here’s what the combat sports legend Mike Tyson had to say about it.

Barstool Sports president Dave Portnoy, with whom Pimblett signed a seven-figure contract last year, appeared on an episode of the Hotboxin podcast hosted by Mike Tyson.

After Tyson’s McGregor comparison, Portnoy said, We’ll find out, but I think he can definitely fight. How good? We’ll find out but Dana knows and Dana sees what I see in him, which is this guy is a meal ticket… They’re not going to put him in versus King Kong anytime soon… and he sold out the London show the other day…”

Further on, Tyson advised Portnoy to not get Pimblett beaten, When guys do that, let them fight. Don’t get him beat, please,” he said.
