Andrew Schulz compares Israel Adesanya to Mike Tyson

The ‘Flagrant’ host mentioned that there are certain famous individuals who are larger than life and are authentic without even trying. Schulz said, “There are certain people throughout history, especially famous people, who are usually tied to institutions.” Moreover, he also took the example of Mike Tyson while comparing him with the personality of Israel Adesanya, and mentioned what made ‘Iron’ unique.

“Mike Tyson is Mike Tyson… he’s not a guy from Brooklyn [and] he’s not a guy who trained under Cus D’Amato. Mike Tyson is this unique individual,” said Andrew Schulz. He also mentioned that certain other individuals like Joe Rogan and rock singer Kurt Cobain had the same aura about them. Schulz added, “Rogan’s another one… you know maybe Kurt Cobain.”

The 39-year-old comedian also mentioned what he really admires about the 2-time middleweight champion.

Schulz admires Adesanya’s career trajectory

Andrew Schulz spoke about the career trajectory of ‘The Last Stylebender’ and an aspect that he likes the most. Schulz claims that his success has given him the opportunity to speak his mind. He said, “I just really admire that trajectory that you’re going on because you are free to say what you want to say as long as it’s being authentic to you.”

Furthermore, he also mentioned that it isn’t possible for most people. They refrain from speaking their mind so that they do not lose the opportunities that they might get. “And a lot of people are terrified of doing it because they’re worried about losing out on opportunities,” said Andrew Schulz.
