‘The Notorious’ recently came across a video of Canelo Alvarez’s boxing match against Floyd Mayweather on Twitter (X). Conor McGregor claimed that he landed more shots on ‘Money’ than the Mexican boxer and that he’d love another chance to fight the 50-0 legend again. However, Alvarez did not take those words from the Irishman kindly. He also took shots at the former UFC double champion.

Canelo Alvarez responded to McGregor by claiming that he would need just one hand to fight him. Furthermore, he even stated that he would finish off ‘The Notorious’ with much fewer punches than he threw at Floyd Mayweather. This seemingly enraged Conor McGregor, as he sent a warning to the Mexican star.

Conor McGregor, calling Alvarez an “uncooked chicken,” warned that he will destroy his knee with kicks. At this point, the Irishman was no longer thinking about boxing. McGregor straight-up wanted an MMA-style fight against the undisputed super middleweight champion. We will have to wait and see how this heated exchange takes shape in the future.

Khamzat Chimaev and Kamaru Usman warn each other ahead of UFC 294

‘Borz’ and ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ recently came face-to-face against each other in an online interview with MMA legend Chael Sonnen. Khamzat Chimaev appeared to have a much more humble demeanor than he used to. He refrained from sharing a prediction for the fight. However, he did send a warning to Kamaru Usman as they gear up to battle at Abu Dhabi this weekend.

“Just come here. [I] smash the guy, man… people already say he did not have a camp, this and that. For me, it doesn’t matter. I come finish everyone,” said Khamzat Chimaev. Similarly, Kamaru Usman also gave his thoughts about the fight. He said, “Just like he’s [Chimaev] planning to step in there and get his hands raised, so am I. He’s prepared, so am I.” It remains to be seen who comes out on top at UFC 294.

Update on the probability of Dana White and Joe Rogan’s presence in Abu Dhabi this weekend

UFC 294 is shaping up to be an amazing event with some of the best fighters on the card. However, long-time commentator Joe Rogan will not be there in the commentary team this weekend. Besides, the 56-year-old had already stated previously that he does not plan on being a part of an international UFC event. Instead, ‘MMA Junkie’ reported that Paul Felder will replace Rogan and will call the fights alongside Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik.

Meanwhile, Dana White will be present to witness the fights in Abu Dhabi. Incidentally, the UFC CEO owns a PBR bull, who’ll be in action on the 21st of October, which is the same day as UFC 294. However, White has assured he will be there for the Islam Makhachev vs Alexander Volkanovski headliner and hopes that his bull does well.
