However, in the wake of that not being a possibility, the British fighter expressed his willingness to fight former two-time heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic. Aspinall even revealed that he even had an offer for that fight from the UFC.

“While we are talking about [Stipe Miocic], my manager was contacted by the UFC asking if I’d like to fight him on Apr 13th. I, of course, accepted,” tweeted Tom Aspinall. He further went on to insinuate that Stipe Miocic was trying to avoid him. The UFC fighter-cum-firefighter wanted to face only Jon Jones. In the end, Aspinall came to terms with the situation and shared a final tweet regarding that matter.
