Is Dana White lying about Jake Paul?
Everyone was excited about the UFC 306 PPV since it was Dana White’s one-and-done venture at the Sphere. Guess what? YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul also snuck into the event which he revealed in a video on Instagram. He’d also reveal that he only had to sneak in because he was banned and since his “best buddy” and business partner, Sean O’Malley, was headlining the event, he had to come and see the fight. For that, he had to make use of a disguise. But when Dana White was asked about this incident and about banning the 27-year-old, he surprised everyone by claiming that bans aren’t a thing in the UFC.

“Nobody is banned from the UFC. Listen, that kid knows how to market and do his thing, and you know, all that, all that good sh**. But yeah. Jake Paul is welcome to come into UFC. He just can’t bring that, you know,” Dana White stated at the DWCS presser. Hearing these words, MMA analyst Luke Thomas pointed out the decade-old ban on former heavyweight champion Randy Couture from attending UFC events, highlighting White’s lie about bans. He wondered if that ban still holds value today because we’ve never seen the veteran ever in any UFC event. Let us know what you think after taking a look at the next big story.
UFC CEO signs 4 fighters from 4 weight classes in DWCS
History was made in the sixth episode of the eighth season of the Contender Series. Bantamweight star Elijah Smith earned his UFC contract only to be a part of a team with his father, Gilbert Smith, who fought just one fight under the UFC banner on ‘The Ultimate Fighter’. The Smiths are the only father and son duo to ever step foot inside the Octagon. On the other hand, Dana White added an Afghani fighter to the lightweight roster, Ahmad Hassanzada, who scored a submission win to earn his UFC contract.
