The Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson bout is scheduled to take place on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas and will be streamed exclusively on Netflix. ‘Iron Mike’ last fought in an exhibition against a fellow legend, Roy Jones Jr, in 2020 which was declared a split draw.

He responded by stating, “Mike Tyson’s a GOAT man, so, I’m on Mike Tyson’s side, so we’ll see what happens. I think he’s seen it all, yeah…”

The Stockton native’s prior experience having fought Paul in an exhibition bout in 2023, does add an intriguing layer to his pick. However, Diaz lost the bout via unanimous decision over 10 rounds, as such, it remains to be seen if Tyson can avoid a repeat of the same. Nevertheless, Diaz also indicated in a recent interview that he still has some scores to settle in the future and while Jake Paul is also a target, he has revealed some other interesting names as well!

Diaz is looking to settle some scores soon

Conor McGregor is gearing up for a UFC 303 showdown with Michael Chandler, but his old rival Nate Diaz has his sights set on a rematch with him, amongst some other names, too! In a recent interview with MMA Junkie, Diaz revealed that he has a “hit list” of scores that he wants to settle.

With McGregor and Diaz’s UFC record standing at 1-1, it’ll be interesting to see if the deciding fight happens soon. But, since Diaz is currently a free agent, it’ll be interesting to see if he can return to the UFC to tick off ‘The Notorious’s name from his ‘list’. The same goes for his assertion about Leon Edwards, the current UFC welterweight champion who defeated Diaz at UFC 263 in 2021.

In conclusion, fans will eagerly await developments to see if Diaz can make good on his promises and secure the fights he desires, including a potential rematch with McGregor to break the 1-1 tie in their UFC rivalry. Do you think he’ll be able to cross off all the names in the ‘hitlist’ soon? Why or Why not? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
