No Mental Health Issues Reveals Ryan Garcia as UFC World Reacts to Devin Haney’s Humiliating Loss – “Judges Actually Gave Him the Win”

Ryan Garcia did it! Despite the chaotic build-up of the fight against Devin Haney and rising concerns about his mental health, ‘King Ry’ defeated ‘The Dream’ by a majority decision. Subsequently, Garcia was able to garner reactions, not only from the boxing community but also from many in the UFC community on social media, with his win over Haney.

Ryan Garcia missed weight for the Devin Haney fight, which led to the boxing match being a non-title one. But after the win, the 25-year-old Los Alamitos native revealed that he did not have any mental health problems, which was something he dealt with in the past. “Come on, guys. You really thought I was crazy? You done lost your mind.”

According to the statistics of the fight, Ryan Garcia landed fewer punches than Devin Haney. Nevertheless, he landed more than double the number of power shots on ‘The Dream’. It was a big win for Garcia and many people claim his win to be a huge upset. The judges scored the fight 112-112, 114,-11-, and 115-109 in favor of Ryan Garcia,  constituting Devin Haney’s first loss as a professional. It was a back-and-forth fight with Garcia getting the upper hand in the latter part of the match and many UFC fighters have their take on how they think the fight went down.

The fight between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney was one of the biggest boxing matches in recent memory. Hence, there was no doubt that even UFC fighters were hooked onto their TV screens for this big-time clash. Featherweight fighter Billy Quarantillo congratulated ‘KingRy’ on his big win while also praising his performance.

Former UFC and current PFL star Derek Brunson seemed to love the noise Ryan Garcia made on social media during the build-up to the fight. Now, he wants to see Gervonta Davis in a rematch, who handed ‘KingRy’ his only loss in his professional career.

Terrance McKinney also shared some words of praise for Ryan Garcia. Given how the judging in MMA fights often raises questions, ‘T Wrecks’ was happy to see that the judges’ score for the Garcia vs Haney favored the rightful winner according to the fans.

MMA content creator and social media influencer Nina Marie Daniele also expressed her excitement regarding the 25-year-old’s win with a video clip on X. “Go Ryan. Oh, that’s so freaking close. Let’s go,” said the 35-year-old.

Former bantamweight champion and UFC 300 victor Aljamain Sterling claimed to have been satisfied with the outcome of the Garcia vs Haney fight. Having witnessed the whole fight, ‘Funk Master’ believes ‘KingRy’ was in a great position in the last few rounds and registering a few knockdowns.

UFC veteran Matt Brown seemed to have enjoyed Ryan Garcia’s win as well. Given how his pre-fight antics made rounds on the news, the 42-year-old congratulated the Los Alamitos native on his majority decision victory.

Also, former UFC star and BMF champion Jorge Masvidal commended Ryan Garcia for putting on a great performance and the fact that he was able to fool people with his act during the build-up of the fight.

Ryan Garcia was able to have the final laugh against Devin Haney in a fight that many people wanted to be canceled. But after passing the mental evaluation by the New York State Athletic Commission, ‘King Ry’ showed his class inside the squared circle. But what’s next for him? Will he rekindle his rivalry with Gervonta Davis? That remains to be seen.
