Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul seems to be officially off the table, as Jake Paul recently announced a shocking yet thrilling matchup for his brother. ‘The Maverick’ will now face off against Jake Paul in a boxing match in the first quarter of this year. This news has sent shockwaves through the entire combat sports community, as it could mark the first time in boxing history that two brothers will fight against each other, and amidst the buzz, Paul’s brother’s former opponent, Dillon Danis has come forward to give his own thought on it.

Dillon Danis took to his X handle to share a rather candid tweet regarding the matchup, “Dillon Danis knows all. This isn’t a fight; they’re just pretending to build up hype, probably for either some bullshit reality TV show or documentary. Mark my words.” Will the brothers fight? Well, this question is a rather complicated one considering Logan Paul in his conversation with the WWE asserted that he would like to focus on them rather than doing any side gigs.

However, Jake Paul has come forward not only to announce the date of the fight but also to showcase the poster for their intended clash. The younger Paul brother took to his X handle to upload the poster of their intended clash and captioned it as, “The moment you’ve waited a decade for… March 27th on @StreamOnMax.” It must be noted that the Paul brothers emphasized that they would not clash against each other as they were family but it appears that someone within the boxing world is writing a big enough cheque for the brothers to fight.

A fight between brothers may sound a bit depressing, considering that both of them started their YouTube and combat sports careers together. However, there has been a constant difference of opinion between them, particularly due to Logan Paul’s partnership with KSI. Logan’s intended business partnership with KSI has been a barrier to his good relationship with his brother.

Jake Paul shares honest opinion on throwing hands against Logan Paul

If we look at the records, Jake Paul is potentially a better boxer than Logan Paul. ‘The Problem Child’ has fought Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, and even Mike Tyson. His experience from these bouts might be a bit too much for his older brother. Interestingly, the betting markets also believe that Jake Paul would be the one to win if he faced his brother.

While having a conversation with ‘All The Smoke Fight’, Jake Paul was asked about his opinion on fighting his brother, to which the YouTuber turned boxer stated, “‘I’m okay with fighting my brother because I wouldn’t have to be the one that dealt with losing. Seriously. Emotionally, if that would scar him, then he shouldn’t do it. But if he’s going to sign up, I don’t have to be the one to lose.”

In addition to that, when the host joked that Jake Paul had been bullied by his brother during their childhood, ‘The Problem Child’ responded, “Which also plays into it a little bit.” The clash appears to be a bit personal for Jake Paul but will they actually fight? Well, the question can only be answered in March. Regardless, what’s your opinion on their face-off? State your thoughts in the comments below.
