‘The Battle of the Baddest’ is done and dusted and we have a winner, Tyson Fury. Nevertheless, Francis Ngannou‘s dexterous performance, despite being a newbie in the world of boxing, has earned the respect of the entire world. Ngannou has proved that sheer hard work, discipline, and dedication are the facets of excellence. Consequently, the Predator shocked the world when he knocked down Fury with an accurate and powerful lead hook in the third round.

Several prominent celebrities have stepped forward to express their appreciation for the Cameroon-French fighter, with the list featuring heavyweight figures from various sports. Even the controversial Tristan Tate has extended his commendations to ‘Predator’ for his outstanding performance.

Francis Ngannou gave a tough competition to Tyson Fury. The match was toe-to-toe and no one could predict the outcome of the match. In the third round, Ngannou punched Fury so hard that he sent him to the canvas and then did a little dance over him.

However, ultimately it was Fury who emerged as the victorious one and thus continued to reign as the undefeated one. Ngannou’s performance earned a round of applause from the fans. people even go as far as claiming him to be robbed and referring to him as the people’s winner.

Tristan Tate jumped on the bandwagon and took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to add a tweet appreciating Ngannou. Tate compared him to the real-life ‘Rocky Balboa’. Tate writes “This may be the most accurate fight prediction this year. “Rocky 1” indeed. Massive massive credit to Ngannou. Literally the plot of Rocky Balboa here IRL.” 

This tweet was a follow-up to his previous tweet in which he mentioned that Ngannou is tough but he is far from defeating Fury. Tate stated “Francis Ngannou is a warrior. This build up has been very much like the plot of Rocky 1 and I’ve enjoyed seeing it. My prediction though is simple, just like the plot of Rocky 1 the heavyweight champ wins. Credit to both men but nobody beats The Gypsy King.”

Amidst the disheartening outcome, a pervasive aura of contentment lingered. Mike Tyson, in a display of happiness, lauded Ngannou’s resolute performance against Fury in a grueling ten rounds of relentless duels. He took to his Instagram handle and lauded the Cameroonian-French mixed martial artist.

Tyson added a photo of Ngannou and him and captioned it “The true champ of the evening @francisngannou. So proud [of] how you performed“. Tyson was proud of his protege. However, it should be noted that Tyson witnessed his legacy unfold in front of him, as Ngannou started boxing after being inspired by him and Fury was named after Tyson. In the battle of the baddest, seemingly, Mike Tyson was the real winner
