The recent announcement that the Stockton fighter will face YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in a boxing match has sent shockwaves through the combat sports world. Fight fans have been reacting to the news with a mix of excitement and intrigue. Moreover, the UFC middleweight star Sean Strickland has put out his take on the matchup and made it abundantly clear that he doesn’t like the sound of it at all.

Sean Strickland is not having it with Diaz vs. Paul
True to his bluntly honest style, the UFC fighter, Sean Strickland, didn’t mince words when it came to voicing his opinion on the upcoming boxing match between Nate Diaz and Jake Paul. Taking to Twitter, he urged fight fans to ‘stop watching’ it.

On the other hand, Nate Diaz is not only excited to step into the boxing ring but also aims to settle some unfinished business with the UFC.
Nate Diaz is not done with the UFC yet
After the announcement of his fight with ‘The Problem Child’, the former Strikeforce champion put out his thoughts on going into this match-up and more. While doing so, the 37-year-old also hinted at the potential return to the UFC.

“Besides Canelo[Alvarez], he[Jake Paul] is the biggest thing in boxing. I’m here to conquer that. I’m the king of combat sports and then I’m headed back to get my UFC belts. I f**ked up Conor[McGregor] for acting out and now here I am again, like a superhero of the real fight game- the king of the real fight game.”, said Diaz.
Having said that, Diaz vs. Paul is scheduled to take place on August 5. And perhaps, we may see Nate Diaz return to the UFC after that.
