Joe Rogan discovered his love for the sport of fighting a long time back but even he can’t love all of them. On a very recent and popular episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the podcaster opened up about how he feels regarding the recent developments with Misfits Boxing. The promotion founded by KSI is all the heat among influencers-turned-fighters.

But is it really good fighting? Rogan had his interests straight on the topic. The fight is happening in the same month as the much anticipated Francis Ngannou vs. Tyson Fury boxing bout for the PFL. Clearly, Dillon Danis and Logan Paul have some competition outside the ring as well. So which one of the two fights really drew Rogan’s attention? Here’s what he had to say.

Joe Rogan prefers Ngannou vs. Fury over Paul vs. Danis

The episode featured the current bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley alongside his coach Tim Welch. The three were speaking about a range of different things when the topic came up. O’Malley mentioned how the promotion and the online feuds between Paul and Danis have him plugged in. For the champ, the Misfits Boxing fight takes the cake. But Joe Rogan was on another end of the spectrum.

“I’m not paying attention at all to the Dillon versus Logan thing. Other than the online drama. Occasionally someone sends it to me, but I try to avoid all that stuff . . . talking about his girlfriend, his fiance, come on,” said the host.

The Dillon Danis drama is no secret to anyone in the MMA or boxing world anymore. The fighter has infamously trolled and abused Logan Paul’s wife-to-be on his social media. Fans suspect that all of it is just to break his opponent’s spirit ahead of the fight but how much of it is true? No one will ever know if Danis meant everything he said or if it was all just a spectacle.

Regardless, O’Malley made a good point when he called it well-promoted. The face-off video where Danis and Paul just sit in a room and exchange words went pretty viral. Clearly, everything was set up for the internet. On the other hand, Ngannou vs. Fury is taking a more traditional route. The PFL fight has the fighters in press conferences and individual interviews that may or may not be fully found on the internet. It really does make a world of difference.

Nevertheless, has the feud gone off the rails and started impacting Danis negatively?

Has the drama cost Dillon Danis a lot?

The short answer is yes. After his brutal trolling and sharing of private pictures of Nina Agdal, the model filed a lawsuit against the fighter. Paul’s fiance was more than upset and demanded $150,ooo in damages. On top of that, she also filed a restraining order against Danis. So is Danis really making any money off of this fight? The odds are interesting. Because if Danis loses the fight, he loses his entire fight purse to Paul. A bizarre bet between the two landed them on these terms. If Logan loses, Danis will be his best man at his wedding with Agdal.

So one of the two fighters risks having a broken bank account after only recently becoming a father and another risks ruining his life’s most beautiful moment. It really does look like one of those vlogs where Logan Paul destroys everything in sight. Except for this time, the outcome is entirely in his hands. Not that it has stopped the YouTuber from getting decimated online before. Will Paul emerge victorious? How will Danis be the best man with a restraining order in place? Perhaps, the two make a brand new reality show out of this one.
