YouTube-turned-boxer Jake Paul has been making a name for himself in the world of boxing. He lost his last boxing bout, which was against Tommy Fury. He has beaten UFC legend Anderson Silva as well. Now, he finds himself face to face with the bada** Nate Diaz. The two will battle it out in a boxing bout on 5 August in Dallas.

Should Conor McGregor have stepped in before? Nate Diaz opens up on the ‘loudmouth’ Jake Paul

If there is one thing about Nate Diaz that fans can agree to it is that Nate Diaz is not scared to speak his mind. His rivalry with former Lightweight champ Conor McGregor will go down as one of the greatest UFC Lightweight rivalries of all time. However, with both fighters having buried the hatchet, it seems there is actually a lot of mutual respect there.

Jake Paul had called out Conor McGregor and made disrespectful comments about his wife Dee Devlin. This, apparently, pissed off Nate Diaz, who decided to step in and teach Jake Paul a lesson. Now the two are going head to head in a boxing ring.

Diaz was recently interviewed by Bradley Martin for his YouTube channel Bradley Martin’s Raw Talks, where he was seen talking about Jake Paul ‘running his mouth’.

“Like Conor…like – like Jake talking sh*t to Conor and everybody and (inaudible)… I’m like someone tell him to shut the fuck up, you know?“, said Diaz, talking about Jake Paul. The interviewer was quite curious about Diaz’s take on Paul disrespecting Conor McGregor and his wife. He asked Diaz if he thought Conor McGregor would have fought him.

“If he was free, if he was free, yeah I’m sure he would fight him… why would you not? He’s f*****g talking all this s**t and he’s like… you need to fight people like on a…“, said Diaz, before he trailed off and was immersed in his own thoughts. 

Talking about Jake Paul, Diaz said, ‘There’s f*****g, uh…. Criteria you know what I’m saying? And that motherf****r meets it.“

Nate Diaz vs. Jake Paul – Conor McGregor getting his revenge through his former opponent?

Diaz and McGregor had a fierce rivalry back in the day. Diaz won the first bout between the two, while McGregor won the second. Now, it seems Diaz has his back. Jake Paul had disrespected Conor McGregor and his wife, Dee Devlin, just to ‘piss off’ the UFC Superstar.

Now, he has the attention of Nate Diaz. Former UFC BMF champ Jorge Masvidal, who defeated Nate Diaz to become the first UFC BMF champ, has warned Jake Paul about Nate Diaz and his boxing skills.
