“Sounds Like a Craigslist Conor McGregor” – Combat World Reacts to Undefeated Irish Boxer’s Latest Callout

Love him or hate him, one cannot deny that Conor McGregor is a warrior. The Irishman has a fighting spirit unparalleled and looks to display it inside or outside the octagon. His rise to the UFC gold is well documented and all throughout his journey, one aspect is something that the fans loved. ‘The Notorious’ is known for his Irish fighting spirit and never backed down from a fight. These acts of his have earned him respect, UFC golds, and tremendous amounts of money. However, combat sports fans are witnessing a similar rise to another Irish fighter who is looking to ‘take over’ the boxing world and the UFC.
Fans compare Callum Walsh to Conor McGregor after his callout
Callum Walsh is set to fight on March 16th at the UFC fight pass. A viral video of Walsh‘s callout is circulating over the internet. Walsh said, “I told the UFC and I told fight pass. I was gonna be the man to change boxing. I will fight anyone, anytime, anywhere.”

Furthermore, he added, “He’s been the first person to call me out online. So I’m a man of my word. I’m gonna live up to that. He wants to be the man to beat Callum Walsh. He wants to be the man to end all this. But he’s not gonna be and we’ll see all that March 16th.”

Fans have reacted by comparing Walsh to the famous Irishman Conor McGregor.
One fan said, “Irish Dustin Poirier.”
Similarly, another fan added, “Sounds like a craigslist Conor McGregor and I’m here for it.”

It looks like Walsh has his mission accomplished as one fan commented, “No idea who this guy is but sells himself so will be watching this fight.”

McGregor had an Irish Fighting Spirit
Conor McGregor had one of the most heroic rises in the UFC. ‘The Notorious’ had a fighting spirit associated with his country. Moreover, what McGregor did was inspiring for his fellow Irishmen.

We may be seeing new fighters from Ireland that look to follow McGregor‘s path. UFC already has Ian Garry that looks to be on the path. Now Callum Walsh is looking to add to the list.
