UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman came on Twitter and responded to Jake Paul after ‘The Problem Child’ called him out. Jake Paul is riding high off his scintillating KO against Ben Askren and has shifted his attention towards the MMA community. Chiefly, Usman is one of many UFC fighters who have been at the receiving end of Paul’s call-outs.
Jake Paul enticed Kamaru Usman by offering him his ‘biggest payday’ to date by boxing him in the ring. This has been Paul’s go-to when it comes to call-outs, including ones issued to Nate Diaz and Daniel Cormier. While Ben Askren was brought in by the prospect of making a huge payday, Kamaru Usman had a different view.

Kamaru Usman fires back at ‘The Problem Child’
‘The Nigerian Nightmare’, who is at the very top of his game inside the octagon, didn’t take too kindly to Paul’s call-out. Kamaru Usman urged Jake Paul to effectively stay in his lane and continue boxing lesser experienced strikers. Additionally, he made sure to take a jab at Jake Paul’s infamous past as a Disney channel star.
Keep making your money young man, and stay on that side. I ain’t no Disney kid and I don’t play fighting.

Given the way Kamaru Usman’s striking has been looking as of late, Jake Paul will probably be well advised to stay away. The undisputed champion is fresh off a second-round KO of MMA veteran Jorge Masvidal in the main event for UFC 261. Usman cleanly KO’ed Masvidal cold with a right hand straight from hell.
What’s more, his striking improvements have been incremental meaning that he’s still evolving on a daily basis. Ever since he began training his hands under Trevor Wittman, things have been on the up and up for Kamaru Usman. He’s now on a two-fight KO/TKO streak with both finishes coming against high-level competitors on the feet, no less.

It’s becoming increasingly difficult to predict Usman’s ceiling in the sport, given the way he’s looked as of late. He’s become a threat in all departments of MMA and is clearly not someone that is to be taken lightly. Fans of Jake Paul will most likely have to watch him take on someone else, as Kamaru Usman is a man on a mission in the UFC.
