Jake Paul will be taking on UFC legend Nate Diaz in a ten-round boxing match in Dallas, Texas on August 5. ‘The Problem Child’ will be looking to repair his reputation after his loss to Tommy Fury. Fury was the first boxer with any professional boxing experience the former Disney star had faced. His loss was seen by critics as confirmation that Paul was not a serious boxer. 

Although the 26-year-old has been credited with training hard by Teddy Atlas and has been endorsed by Mike Tyson as a good thing for boxing, his penchant to fight retired MMA fighters past their prime is a common criticism levelled at him.

An old video of Paul was shared as Paul getting news that Diaz was pulling out of the fight. In the video, Paul can be seen receiving a phone call. Paul answers the phone and is told ‘they’ pulled out. The video, however is older than the Diaz fight announcement.
