Jake Paul is set to Tyron Woodley in a boxing match in August. The YouTuber turned pro-boxer will look to add another MMA star to his record after he knocked out Woodley’s friend Ben Askren in his last fight. ‘The Problem Child’ seems extremely confident in his abilities ahead of the fight.

Woodley and Paul squared off for a face-off ahead of the event. Speaking to the media, Paul said that he would beat up ‘The Chosen One’ when they eventually clash heads inside the squared ring in August. Paul also pointed out that he believes his boxing skills are far superior than Woodley’s.

Paul said, “Yeah, for sure. Yeah, 100%. But like, again, he’s not as good as me. And he’s playing catch up. He’s got 86 days, you know, August 28 is the day. He’s got 86 days from now to try to unlearn all those bad habits. We see holes in his whole entire game, and to try and learn how to box. He’s stiff, muscles don’t fight and he’s going to be out of his whole element. This is boxing. This isn’t MMA, my friend and you can’t learn how to box in 86 days, and that will show him the ring and the Disney kid is gonna beat up the five-time UFC champion of the world, the Hall of Famer, and it’s gonna be hilarious.”

It will be an interesting spectacle for the fans as a win over Woodley will undoubtedly be a huge feather in Paul’s cap. But this is easier said than done.

Can Jake Paul hang in with Tyron Woodley?

Unlike any other individual Paul has fought, Woodley can actually strike. He has had a bunch of vicious knockouts in his career. One might argue that Woodley is on a 4-fight skid and is 40-years-old, but he is still a 5-time world champion.

But this is a boxing fight and T-Wood has actually been a shadow of his actual self in his recent fights. So it’s hard to predict what exactly one can expect from the contest.
