Despite entering the USADA pool for his much-anticipated UFC return, Conor McGregor is still eyeing a lucrative rematch against Floyd Mayweather. McGregor earned over $100 million from his boxing debut against Mayweather in 2017, adding generational wealth to his fortune. Although the UFC star ended up losing via 10th-round TKO, he claims to have done a better job than what Canelo Alvarez did against Floyd Mayweather.

The UFC star took to Twitter and fired shots (as he often does) against Alvarez and Mayweather. This incident comes days after the news of his re-enrollment in the USADA testing pool for a UFC return. So why is McGregor shifting his attention to boxing and what did he have to say?

It’s been over six years since Conor McGregor had his unsuccessful boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather. Riding on a 50-0 record, 46-year-old Floyd Mayweather is professionally retired but continues to take on exhibition matchups. It remains to be seen whether he would entertain another go at Conor McGregor.
