Demetrious Johnson and Ric Flair are legends of their particular sports. While ‘Mighty Mouse’ is a legend in the MMA, the ‘Nature Boy’ is one of professional wrestling’s all-time greats. Recently Johnson took to Twitter to praise Flair and wrote, “So proud of Ric Flare, with all that bling one, fresh a** suit on!! whhhoooooooo.”

This tweet came after Flair refereed a slapping match on the undercard of the Jake Paul vs Ben Askren event. Fans saw the former WWE superstar in high spirits as he officiated the match between Da Crazy Hawaiian and The Bear Man.

During the slapping match, Flair wore a fresh suit and had his bling on. ‘Naitch’ looked as great as always and impressed the former UFC champion, who couldn’t help but appreciate the legend for his enthusiasm.

People know Flair as one of the most flamboyant names in WWE. The former WWE champion has been retired for a long time, but is still one of the most popular figures out there. WWE enthusiasts can still see him in a managerial role at the WWE, mostly with his daughter Charlotte Flair.

What next for Demetrious Johnson and Ric Flair?

Ric Flair is not an active member of any combat sports promotion. Hence, ‘Nature Boy’ will most probably be making some appearances in the WWE. The fighter has always almost been a part of his daughter’s storylines and will continue to do so in the future as well. Furthermore, fans can expect to see him at Triller events as he will draw eyeballs in.

Johnson on the other hand is still an active competitor. The MMA legend is a part of ONE Championship where he competes in the flyweight division. ‘Mighty Mouse’ last fought on April 7, 2021, on ONE on TNT 1, where he competed for the ONE flyweight championship.

The fight ended with Johnson losing the fight and suffering his first knockout loss. Since then there has been no news of what Johnson will be up to in the future.

‘Mighty Mouse’ is just 34 years old and has a few years of top-level fighting left in him. Hence, we might see him appear inside the cage sooner than expected.
