Despite losing his last 4 MMA fights, he still left a dominant legacy behind him as a former champion. Here we take a look at the answers T-Wood gave to Custer’s queries.

Who did Tyron Woodley mention as his toughest opponents?

Woodley revealed that Nathan Coy was the toughest fight of his MMA career. He fought Coy back in 2010 under the Strikeforce promotion. Woodley managed to get away with a split decision in his favor in a razor-close contest. Apart from Strikeforce, Coy has also fought in organizations like Bellator MMA and the UFC.

While Coy might come as a surprise to many as Woodley’s toughest fight, there was no surprise answer on who is the toughest puncher T-Wood has ever fought.

It was none other than the former UFC welterweight champion, Robbie Lawler. Woodley stopped ‘Ruthless’ at the first round of their fight at UFC 2o1 to become the undisputed welterweight champion. It was one of the best performances of his career. So, it is understandable why ‘The Chosen One’ has fond memories of that bout.
