The former professional boxer Oscar De La Hoya and UFC kingpin Dana White are one of the most vicious rivals in the fight industry. And over the years, their enmity has only increased so much so that both have taken personal jabs at each other on the internet.

De La Hoya, a legendary boxer and current fight promoter at Golden Boy, has called out White multiple times for the fighters’ pay issue. He also criticized the UFC President for making MMA and boxing crossover fight between Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather  in the past.

There was a pretty intense battle of words between the two prominent names in combat sports. White even accused De La Hoya of faking a medical condition to duck a fight with Vitor Belfort and called him an “absolute f**king loser” in the past.

Hence, it is unlikely that the UFC kingpin will settle things up with the legendary boxer so fast.

Dana White says boxers are overpaid

Over the years, UFC president Dana White has faced a lot of criticism for the UFC fighters’ payday. Notable names in the combat sports, including boxer Jake Paul, have accused White of paying his fighters low pay.

However, White is certain about his system and has mostly denied these accusations. He also believes that there’s never gonna be a guy who says I am getting enough money even if he gets paid in millions. “You’re never going to meet that guy. It’s never going to happen.” White said while talking about the fighter pay issue in a recent interview.

“Everybody wants more money. And one of the big problems with boxing too is that all those f**king guys are overpaid. And every time they put on a fight, it’s a going-out-of-business sale. We’re just trying to get as much f****** money as we can from you guys, and then we’re out of here. We’ll see you in three years.” White added.
