“We Have an Overwhelming Case Against Him” – After $20M in Damages, Conor McGregor’s Management Company Warns Manny Pacquiao

Paradigm Sports, a company that manages Conor McGregor, has filed a lawsuit against the legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao. The CEO of Paradigm sports, Audie Attar, has warned promoters from working with the legendary Filipino boxing superstar.

Paradigm Sports is one of the world’s leading global sports management, media, and business agencies. The company is known for managing NFL players as well as combat sports athletes. The company has represented fighters, including Jiri Prochazka, Leon Edwards, and Israel Adesanya, just to name a few. Paradigm sports has recorded more than 18 soccer championships and 137 combat sports titles in its ranks. Apart from UFC, Paradigm sports also represent fighters from Rizin, One Championship, and Glory Kickboxing.

Recently, Paradigm Sports have broken ties with Manny Pacquiao. They have also warned other promoters in the US not to work with the legendary boxer and issued a statement in this regard.

Manny Pacquiao faces a lawsuit from the company that manages Conor McGregor

Paradigm Sport reportedly paid 3.3 million dollars to Manny Pacquiao when he signed in 2020. The ‘Pac-Man’ looked like he will be having a potential fight with MMA great, Conor McGregor, just like his boxing counterpart Floyd Mayweather Jr. But the company found Pacquiao breaching his contract since he was found setting up his own fights. Paradigm Sports proceeded to file a lawsuit against the Filipino legend. The trial will commence on 3rd March 2023.

Moreover, Audie Attar has released a statement and addressed the situation. He wrote, “Manny’s days of thumbing his nose at our contractual rights are almost at an end. We have an overwhelming case against him and look forward to justice being served.”

Attar also mentioned that his company has suffered more than 20 million dollars in damages. He also sent a warning to other promoters. Attar added, “If any promoters, managers, fighters or broadcasting networks are considering entering into an agreement with Manny prior to the trial, they are now on notice that Paradigm will immediately commence an action against them for tortious interference with contract and seek both an injunction and damages.

However, Manny Pacquiao‘s upcoming fight against Errol Spence Jr. has got a green signal. The fight will take place on 21st August as planned. This came in the wake of the judge rejecting an injunction request from the Paradigm Sports CEO. We’ll have to wait and see the outcome of the trial.
