Conor McGregor and Canelo Alvarez are two of the most dominant names in their respective combat sports, MMA and boxing. Both of these forces have called out each other for potential matchups. Alvarez in his Mexican demeanor had previously stated that he would fight McGregor for business and not for legacy. McGregor in his own cheeky way is confident that he can defeat Alvarez.

However, with all the uncertainties surrounding McGregor’s return, it is a mystery whether their bout will ever happen. In lieu of confirmation for this epic battle, in a recent video that is making rounds on the internet, Canelo Alvarez gave his opinion on the upcoming Dillon Danis and Logan Paul boxing match. His reaction was later taken off-guard by Dillon Danis who took X (Formerly Twitter) to express his sentiment.

Dillon Danis reacts to Canelo Alvarez’s ignorance about his match with Logan Paul

Canelo Alvarez in a recent interview with the Full Send podcast was asked about his opinion on Dillon Danis and Logan Paul’s fight. The host asked Alvarez “Are you paying attention to all this the Dillon Danis, Logan Paul you’ve seen that card”. ‘Cinnamon’ stated that he had no information about the fight. He added “No not at all. I don’t know what are you talking about “

The Host further asked Alvarev if he stays active on social media. Alvarez was quick to respond that he stays away from social media and sometimes deletes his apps. He added “ No, Sometimes I delete my apps on my phone. Yeah, and I don’t watch. You lose so much time

Dillon Danis is in the middle of a huge controversy surrounding Logan Paul and his fiance Nina Adgal. Despite being sued by them for a massive $150000, Danis seems to be up for the fight to happen and the response by Alvarez didn’t sit well with Dillon Danis who took to X(Formerly Twitter ) to Express his frustration. Danis added,  “Who’s this ginger“. however, later he deleted his tweet.

Canelo Alvarez and Conor Mcgregor never had a significant beef. However, on one occasion while in a conversation about Mayweather and McGregor,  Alvarez declared his interest in a round with McGregor but purely from a business perspective and not for the legacy. In an exclusive interview with DAZN Boxing, he added “Yeah, at some point maybe not now, because I got a mission. At some point, why not? But we’re talking about business, not legacy.”

Mcgregor while having a conversation with Maclife stated that he is confident in defeating Alvarez. He added “ I’m a southpaw. [John] Ryder’s a southpaw. Billy Joe [Saunders] is a southpaw. I’ve seen methods. I’ve seen things I do. And I know he’s waning. I’d fight Canelo [Alvarez] no f***ing problem.”
