Mike Tyson has always been in the news for one or the other reason. Moreover, his style and charisma have earned him a lot of fans apart from his mind-blowing boxing. The boxing great has managed to stay relevant even after retirement with his other interests, such as business ventures, MMA, and UFC.

Tyson has been in and around controversies all his life. Similarly, he is again caught in a mix after a video of him beating up a co-passenger went viral. This is the latest incident, which brought many reactions from across the MMA community.

Reportedly, the guy who Tyson beat was harassing the legendary boxer for some time before things went out of hand. What exactly went through is yet to be unraveled, but a clip shows the guy teasing Tyson from behind.

People on social media started reacting to the incident, and many blamed Tyson for letting loose and resorting to violence. However, the MMA community stood behind ‘Iron Mike’ as one and held the guy responsible for the reaction he got.

Famous UFC journalists Chamatkar Sandhu and Ariel Helwani reacted to the incident.

Sandhu shared the video of the incident, and wrote, “This guy wins the award for most annoying passenger on a flight for Mike Tyson to do this! 😬

He also added the video of the guy poking Mike Tyson, and captioned it, “I mean, when you poke the bear what do you think is going to happen? 🤦

Ariel Helwani reacted to Sandhu’s tweet, and wrote, “Idiot 100% deserved it. Mike let him off easy.”

Another MMA journalist, Chuck Mindenhall, commented under Helwani’s tweet and called the guy Tyson beat an “a**hole.”

Greg Rosenstein also quote tweeted the video and made a public service announcement.

“PSA: Don’t piss Mike Tyson off.”

Combat sports podcast host Ryan McKinnell also backed the former Boxing champ in his tweet.

“Just a reminder that someone pulled a gun on Mike just a couple weeks ago at a comedy show. Tyson confronted him, hugged him, and took care of the situation peacefully. I guess what I’m saying is, man, you really have to piss this guy off… https://youtu.be/1mSy6BvkQnc

Apart from the MMA personalities, many fans also reacted to the incident in a light manner.

Mike Tyson hosts Joe Rogan on his podcast

The iconic UFC commentator Joe Rogan hosts one of the most-listened podcasts in the world, named ‘The Joe Rogan Experience,’ on Spotify. He invites many celebrities from different walks of life to discuss various subjects of mutual interest.

However, he himself appeared as a guest on the recent episode of ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson’, a podcast hosted by the iconic boxer. In fact, Rogan and Tyson are good friends and Tyson has appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience before as well.

During the podcast, Rogan and Tyson were joined by Sebastian Joseph-Day, an NFL player for the Los Angeles Chargers.
