Deontay Wilder was both, shocked and surprised as he watched Power Slap 5. You don’t get to slap anyone around in a major sport like Boxing. But you do get that if you’re competing in Dana White‘s Power Slap. Clearly, Wilder couldn’t get enough of it.

Recently, a power Slap matchup where four titles were on the line went up. Fans witnessed overwhelming knockouts and amazing moments. If you’re into two grown adults slapping the daylights out of each other then Power Slap is for you. And it’s definitely a sport Wilder loves.

Deontay Wilder can’t keep calm about this knockout

It’s not a thing of rarity to see someone get absolutely knocked out after a big slap to their face. That is, of course, limited to the sport of Power Slap. Deontay Wilder is a professional boxer and used to the idea of knockouts. So he couldn’t keep his excitement down when he witnessed this match-up live in front of his eyes.

The slapping contest was between Wesley Drain and Travis Aragon. The bout saw Aragon get slapped to heaven and back as the competitor got knocked out by Drain’s massive hand. The celebration after the knockout was something of a sight too. Here’s how Wilder reacted to it.

“Lol, I’m done where’s the door…Dude said where’s my money!” While fans are divided on whether or not to call Power Slap a battle sport, its entertainment value is undeniable. Wilder would agree with this especially given his highly impressed reaction.

Dana White and his efforts for the sport are no strangers to criticism. In spite of it all, the sport still manages to pull many eyes and much cash from its audience. When did Dana White start Power Slap?

Power Slap was meant to premiere early in 2023. However, the infamous sport was delayed after White was recorded by a CCTV camera slapping his wife outside a Mexican Club. However, once all had passed, the sport officially aired and fans received it with as much appreciation as criticism.

The sport is vague in ways of a battle sport. Its options of defense are just about none. The offensive side can only consist of a slap, not a fist, not a jab, but a slap. Anything else will cause a disqualification. The competitors take turns slapping one another until one is declared the winner. Perhaps, a sport where taking one to the chin is necessary appeals to White and Wilder in the ways of professionals in the field.
