The Dillon Danis and Logan Paul drama is a gift that just keeps giving. And, it’s not entirely flattering. This time around, controversy ensued after a presser that went a little bit out of hand. Paul and Danis are meant to fight in the ring very soon. But who’s to say they can’t fight even on stage in front of a hundred cameras?

On the other end of the spectrum, Ali Abdelaziz had things to say when Conor McGregor congratulated Danis in a tweet. It’s a simple video of Danis speaking about his experience with McGregor that brought out the rage in Team Khabib’s manager. Here’s how the stories link up.

Even non-UFC followers are aware of the famous incident of Khabib Nurmagomedov jumping out of the cage to take down Dillon Danis. The fighter was present in the audience the day Nurmagomedov tore apart McGregor’s legacy. It looks like Ali Abdelaziz hasn’t let go of the moment just yet.

In the latest turn of events, Danis posted a video where he called McGregor one of his “best friends”. Obviously, ‘The Notorious’ had to get in on it as the fighter congratulated Danis and put down Logan Paul in the same tweet. And it looks like his tweet may have struck an old open nerve with Team Khabib.

Abdelaziz soon dove into the conversation reminding the two of the harsh treatment they were given by Team Khabib. The manager claimed that both McGregor and Danis would be slapped by him and Abubakar Nurmagomedov, Khabib’s cousin.

Currently, Abdelaziz represents Islam Makhachev, the fighter from Team Khabib who’s active in the UFC as the reigning lightweight champion. Clearly, the Dagestani fighters haven’t forgotten McGregor’s aggressions towards their ‘big brother’ Khabib Nurmagomedov.
