However, Diaz walked out of the Octagon and the UFC after securing a memorable victory over Ferguson, making a statement. However, the fight in him continues and the fans are in for a treat as the former UFC fighter is all set to fight Jake Paul in a boxing bout on 5 August.

Nick Diaz started his own promotion under the name Real Fight, Inc. and has now bagged one of the biggest fights for the year, against YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul.

The two are going to be throwing hands, on 5 August, in Dallas. Fight fans across both sports are hyped to see these two athletes battle it out.

Nate Diaz’s older brother and former UFC fighter Nick Diaz recently spoke on Nick Diaz’s boxing skills and abilities in an interview with Pink Grenade Entertainment on YouTube.

I saw him take out pro boxers, in two rounds, with a body shot. And then I go and I spar. I do the rest of the f*****g day’s work.” said the older Diaz brother, recalling the impressive boxing skills that Nate Diaz possesses.

Nate Diaz, who has a lot of memorable fights, some of which are against really prominent UFC fighters, is a decent boxer. Adding that to his impressive MMA repertoire makes Diaz a real threat to Jake Paul. However, Paul has been doing really well for himself in the world of boxing and is obviously more seasoned as compared to Nick Diaz when it comes to boxing, specifically.

Nick Diaz, who has experience in boxing, spoke about amateur boxers and professional boxers. “So I’m like, I know, like put Robbie Lawler in there, he ain’t going to do as good as the guy that got f****d up by the guy that I f*** up. So, you know… that was a good reassurance.“, said Nick Diaz. Further talking about this, he said, “You know, and people in boxing… they can never believe that, because of so much work and so much work, to be on a level of amateur boxing or pro-boxing, without having an amateur record.”
