Former UFC welterweight, Ben Askren, came out on Twitter and trolled professional disc golf player and YouTube personality, Brodie Smith. However, 2021 brought the news of a return to combat for Ben Askren, but, not in the realm of MMA. The bout will be an 8-round affair that will go down on April 17 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

There’s a lot of money involved in the event and this has openly been one of the key reasons Askren has taken the bout.

The MMA community is riding behind Ben Askren, who is expected to (as a pro fighter) make quick work of Paul. In fact, UFC President Dana White has bet $1 million that Jake Paul won’t emerge as the victor. The stakes are certainly high and the star-studded spectacle will be one for the ages.
