He was extremely critical about Arum’s statement of Crawford costing him so much money that he could have had a Beverly Hills abode. The UFC President said, “Can you imagine if I said that? Are you fuc***g kidding me? You guys would murder me if I said that. I’d never hear the end of that.”

White added, “His problem isn’t to figure out how you make money. You fuc***g signed a deal with this kid. Your job is to promote him. You made a deal.”

As a promoter himself, White knows that every promoter needs to back the fighter they have deals with.

Dana White talks about the UFC’s large roster

Dana White then went on to talk about the large roster of the UFC. He acknowledged that this is probably the largest roster in the history of the company. White also added that paying a fighter or promoting them is his responsibility, not the fighters’ because that’s how terms are signed in a deal.

Our roster is very inflated right now. We have a very, very big roster. The biggest roster we’ve ever had in the history of the company. I have to pay all these kids. How I pay them is not their fuc**ng problem, it’s my fuc***g problem.” added the UFC president talking about the current state of the company’s roster.

White then explained why Bob Arum was wrong about his comments on Crawford. He also explained that promoting a superstar fighter is solely the promoter’s duty. The UFC President criticized Arum again and asked the media to imagine him talking about paying Conor McGregor money.

He concluded, “Pay your fuc***g fighters what you owe them. That’s your job. Bob Arum is a piece of fuc***g sh*t. Good night everybody.”

Bob Arum recently opened up about the Crawford situation

Bob Arum recently told the media that he is not willing to promote Terence Crawford anymore. He believes the WBO welterweight champion needs to promote himself. He mentioned that he might go bankrupt promoting the undefeated champion.

Arum also referenced other fighters and said, “He’s got to promote like (unified lightweight champion Teofimo) Lopez does. He’s got to promote like (former featherweight champion) Shakur (Stevenson) does. Like (Floyd) Mayweather did. Like (Manny) Pacquiao did. If he doesn’t, then who the f*** needs him? He may be the greatest fighter in the world, but, hey, I ain’t going bankrupt promoting him.”

Crawford is undefeated with 37 wins in 37 fights. He is on his way to becoming a legend of the sport, if not already he is one. ‘Bud’ hasn’t faced extremely tough tests. Nevertheless, from what he has shown so far with his performances, it’s hard to argue he is one of the very best in the business.
