The worlds of MMA and boxing have been having quite a few collisions lately. All eyes are seemingly fixated upon the happenings prior to the fight between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz. However, when Conor McGregor and Paul began exchanging heated words on the internet, things began to attract a lot of attention. The UFC star even took the steps to call the YouTuber-turned-boxer a donkey.
Undeniably, ‘The Problem Child’ wasn’t one to keep quiet for long. A couple of days ago, he claimed that he would beat ‘The Notorious’ and that he simply wasn’t as good as Paul himself in boxing. Recently, the former UFC contender, Chael Sonnen took to his YouTube talk show, ‘Bad Guy Inc’, and dissed the boxer for bad-mouthing McGregor. He claimed that the two had a common opponent. He also went back to the time when Paul apparently ran away from the common opponent.

UFC Hall of Famer reminds Jake Paul of an embarrassing moment
In the recent episode of ‘Bad Guy Inc’, Sonnen responded to Paul’s comments about McGregor. Although it was ‘The Notorious’ who started the beef by calling the boxer “windy” and a “donkey”, the UFC Hall of Famer simply didn’t believe that Paul could beat McGregor.
The former UFC fighter took Paul to the time when he had an encounter with Floyd Mayweather. He revealed how the ‘Mystic Mac’ bashed ‘Money’ for 30 straight minutes. Howbeit, when it was Paul’s turn to face Mayweather, he decided to run away. Based on this, Sonnen declared that McGregor and Paul had a common opponent.

Sonnen said, “The problem is the last time I saw you in the streets with a guy that Conor stood for 30 minutes, you turned and ran. I’m not looking to be a d**k about it at all. I think your feet are a great self defense, man. If you can just get out of there, get out of there. I’m not against it. But I’m saying, there you were with Floyd, who Conor beat up for 30 minutes and you ran from him. So, we have a common opponent. Even in this make-believe land, I’m gonna be… we, we have a common opponent. The common opponent was Floyd.”
