Nate Diaz has publicly challenged Jake Paul, urging him to honor his previous commitment to an MMA fight. Diaz shared a custom-made poster on social media specifically designed to grab Paul’s attention. In response, Paul acknowledged that he would not be engaging in a boxing match with Diaz. Interestingly, the Professional Fighters League (PFL) extended an offer to Paul for an MMA bout against Nate Diaz, which he promptly accepted. Nevertheless, there has been no official announcement regarding whether Nate Diaz will indeed face Jake Paul in the PFL’s smart cage.
Diaz’s pending approval forced the founder of PFL Donn Davis to state that Diaz is hiding from the match. While having a conversation with Ariel Helwani about Nate Diaz and Jake Paul in the “MMAHour”, Davis stated, “ He’s got a standing offer of between $10[million] and $15 million [ to fight Jake Paul in the PFL ] and he’s hiding behind a rock.” Davis’s response to the situation backfired on him as combat enthusiasts took to the web to express their fiery response.

Well, it can be understood from the ‘fiery’ response thrown by the fans that they are totally not amused by the way Davis disrespected the UFC legend fans stated that it is totally uncalled by the PFL management to use such words for a long-time fighter. Nonetheless, Diaz’s reluctance to the offer has broken Paul’s patience as he went on to state that his contracts will be better next time.

‘The Problem Child’ has accepted PFL’s offer and is now waiting for Nate Diaz to do the same. However, Diaz seems to have other plans. Paul’s patience seems to be broken. While addressing a tweet that should have been about Francis Ngannou, Paul attacked Diaz for the delay he was making to officially accept the fight.
Paul stated “Any boxer that wants to box Francis Ngannou has to agree to rematch him in MMA. I tried with Nate but he didn’t want it. Next time my paperwork is going to be smarter.” It is highly unlikely that any top heavyweight fighter will ever accept these terms, so the tweet was in all probability more about Diaz than Ngannou.
