Logan Paul and Dillon Danis will face each other in a boxing match in Manchester on October 14. And, it is safe to say that their co-main event fight has overshadowed the KSI vs. Tommy Fury which will headline the event.

This is because of the excellent marketing and attention the fight has attracted because of Dillon Danis. The Bellator fighter has been relentlessly trolling Logan Paul by targeting the WWE star’s fiancee, the Danish model Nina Agdal. And when the two got together for their in-person face-off, Logan seemed to have responded with a nuclear bomb- bringing up Danis’ father’s passing away.

Logan Paul goes too far?

Paul said that Danis’ life went downhill ever since he was kicked out of Marcelo Garcia‘s gym, after which his two friends and then his father passed away. Danis took exception to Paul talking about his father’s death.

…Your dad passed away, you lost two friends,” Paul said.

“Yeah, he did. Talk about that, see what happens. You’re trying to say you’re not a sc*mbag, and you’re going to talk about my dad passing?” Danis replied.

But the 28-year-old assured ‘El Jefe’ that he was not talking trash about his deceased father and empathized with him.

“I empathize with you Dylan, because I understand that Twitter, right now for you, is like a group therapy session. Because for the first time in a while, you’re getting a sense of validation that you have not gotten”

Fans react to the exchange

Fans took to the comments section and shared their thoughts about the exchange. Here is what some of them had to say.

One fan felt this clip actually humanized the two and was a genuinely good moment:

“I actually thought it was one of the better moments. Logan demonstrated he cared about Dillon on a human level and Dillon responded back by biting his tongue and not responding with a rude comment. I think that moment showed their humanity to each other and it was brought on by Logan empathizing with Dillon”

One user thought it was deserved as Danis and his friend Conor are habitual line-crossers who go after their opponent’s families and their deaths:

“Conor made fun of khabib’s dad passing, Dillon has been going below the belt for the past month. What Logan said wasn’t even that bad he just emphasized his passing and made it look like he could go below the belt aswell but he is not.”

Another fan agreed with this sentiment:

“Anything is fair game. We’re talking about fookin’ Dillon Danis”

One user praised Dillon for choosing the right opponent and marketing it well:

“Best fight Dillion coulda picked up. He’s gaining all the momentum #teamFrancis”

Another felt Logan won that exchange:

“Damn Logan smoked him with that”

While one fan thought Logan was not a good person:

“Logan’s a pos”

Danis has not spared any opportunity to troll Paul, who, fans agreed, looked uncomfortable during the face-off. Either way, the bad blood between the two is palpable. This is why fans are excited to see the two fight each other. Do you think Logan went below the belt? Let us know in the comments.
