Joe Rogan crowns the “Godfather” among podcasters

Rogan in his recent podcast episode #2068, was named the “Godfather” of the podcasting scene by his guest, Cameron Hanes. Given the 250 million dollar deal that he recently secured with Spotify, it isn’t surprising to see the 56-year-old to be held in such high regard.

However, despite such massive praise coming his way, the podcast host refused the title of “Godfather” as Rogan believed, someone else deserved the title. The JRE podcast host gave credit to veteran podcaster, Adam Curry as he was years ahead of the 56-year-old in the podcasting game.

Rogan Stated, “I definitely am not. No. Adam Curry’s the Godfather. He’s the pod-father. He was doing like five years before me. At least five years for me,” giving all props to Curry, given his long-time podcasting.

Despite Adam Curry being ahead of Joe Rogan in terms of podcasting, the UFC commentator and the Joe Rogan Experience have now gone past him and taken over the scene.
