Cejudo seemed to have accepted the challenge. ‘Triple-C’ responded, “You’ll bend the knee within round one! Careful what you wish for!”

Both fighters are represented by famous manager Ali-Abdelaziz. They share a friendly relationship too. In reality, though, such a fight would never happen. Nevertheless, it hasn’t stopped Cejudo from reminding his friend about his greatness.

Henry Cejudo is currently retired as a fighter

The retired Henry Cejudo has always been an outspoken character. He carries his own persona really well.  Despite walking away, he keeps a close eye on proceedings in the MMA world.

Recently, he issued statements about the current flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo. Many touted the Brazilian as the savior of the 125 pounds division due to his recent dominance. But, Cejudo believes it was actually him that saved the division and the current champion is only in that position because of his hard work.

He also mocked Figueiredo and said, “To me, he’s the lord of nothing. I’m the one that gave him that position. I’m allowing him to babysit my belt and he’s being a pretty good babysitter in my eyes.”

It’s needless to say, Cejudo knows his way around words. His mind games often distract his opponents. Should the former champion return to face Figueiredo in a quest to reclaim his belt, it will be a fantastic contest. UFC fans see Figueiredo as the next big legend of the flyweights; Cejudo has made himself prominent in the UFC history books via his achievements.

As for Kayla Harrison. she has recently competed in Invicta FC and claimed a brutal finish on her promotional debut. What do you think is next in the cards for both the fighters? Let us know your thoughts below.
