UFC is back and so is JRE companion. This weekend, the middleweight title will be challenged by Dricus Du Plessis against Sean Strickland at UFC 297. To say it is a massive fight would be an understatement. Nevertheless, the under-cards cannot be underestimated either. Many notable fighters like Raquel Pennington will be competing, and the MMA world will surely witness this epic brawl, including Joe Rogan

It is reported that Rogan will be watching the card live while streaming it online. Alongside him, Joey Diaz, Eddie Bravo, and Brendan Schaub will join him. However, there is one particular individual that does not appear to be welcomed by the fans.

JRE companion is a long-old tradition of the JRE podcast, wherein Rogan and his friends watch live sports events. Schaub has been a guest numerous times. Yet, when the fans found out he was on the panel, they were disheartened, to say the least. A post was made by Rogan on his Instagram with the caption, “Tomorrow night! Live on youtube.com/powerfuljre @ufc Fight Companion with a guest appearance by Joey Diaz! @madflavors_world @eddiebravo10p @brendanschaub
Live during the main card on pay-per-view!”

A fan thinks the former heavyweight fighter adds little to no value. He stated, “Brendan Schlub ruins everything.”

Moreover, one fan thinks he can be replaced with American comedian, Shane Gills. The fan stated, “Drop Schaub and bring on Shane for these!!”

Meanwhile, one fan wonders what is incentive behind him on the panel is and poses a question. He stated, “Brendan Schaub must be giving you blowies in the warehouse. Or do you still feel bad about the ‘don’t fight anymore you suck’ stuff”

On similar lines, one fan urges Rogan to halt him from coming on the show. He stated, “Stop bringing Schaub dude no one likes him lol”

Last but not least, one fan has some hostile words for the former UFC fighter. He stated, “Throw Schaub in the trash”

It appears the fans, by large are not too fond of him. He has also been a polarizing figure but continues to be a close aide of Rogan. Not to mention, most likely, we will see him in the JRE companion this weekend or also in the future. But there was a time Rogan was bluntly honest with the former fighter.

Joe Rogan hands Brendan Schaub a hard-hitting truth

Schaub, back in 2014 appeared on the Joe Rogan podcast. At the time, he was competing but was on a losing streak. Yet, he was unrealistic about his competency as a fighter— until Rogan got brutally honest.

In a very candid conversation, he stated, “I worry about your commitment to fighting and I worried about where you stand. Not your commitment to training, not your commitment to give it your all. I think you have one foot out the door. I think you’re looking—you disagree—I think you’re looking at where the future is going.”
