Joe Rogan Experience to be reportedly featured in GTA 6

Reports have suggested that the Joe Rogan Experience podcast will be featured in the upcoming GTA 6. Rockstar Games announced in February last year that they had started development on the game and it is expected to come out sometime in 2024 or ’25. Sources have suggested that the studio will spend at least $1 billion dollars in the development of the game. Although the details are not out, it is widely speculated that Rogan’s podcast will feature as a radio station players will be able to listen to while driving in the game.

The exact details and how the integration will take place remain unknown. However, given that most episodes are quite long, it is possible that only highlights and selections from the podcast will be featured.

Rockstar Games have probably made this move owing to the Texas resident’s popularity and the interesting conversations he has, that sometimes go off the rails. This would be on-brand for the video game franchise.

Joe Rogan ex c0-host reveals he reached out to Rockstar Games over 10 years ago

Last year, former JRE co-host Brian Redban revealed he had emailed Rockstar Games back in 2011, offering a collaboration with JRE. He shared a screenshot of the email online. The studio, however, never responded to him.

And it is easy to see why. JRE was a fledgling podcast then, a far cry from the spectacular popularity it enjoys today. But, now Rogan is one of the most famous people in the USA and is in the news pretty regularly. Which has probably made Rockstar Games reconsidered. What do you think about the JRE podcast being featured on GTA 6? Let us know in the comments section below.
