UFC’s ex-champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov is known vastly for his discipline. More than his undefeated record, ‘The Eagle’ is popular for sticking by his beliefs. Considering his faith in Islam, Nurmagomedov does not like to consume alcohol.

Although he does not criticize people involved in the act, he strictly denies any offers made to him. Recently, one such video has a video of the Russian has resurfaced the video. In the video, Nurmagomedov can be seen rejecting a glass of wine offered by a famous soccer celebrity.

Sir Alex Ferguson, former soccer coach of Manchester United, once offered Nurmagomedov a glass of wine. Rather than giving him a plain ‘no’, ‘The Eagle’ said something hilarious. He replied by saying, “I told him this is not good because if I drink I can smash all of you guys.”

Due to the video’s resurfacing, fans have caught on to the trend of commenting again. A recent Facebook post featured the resurfaced news. This has caused fans to show a diverse range of emotions and reactions.

A fan started it off by appreciating the Muslim fighter’s strong faith, “He’s super religious, Khabib don’t drink.”

Another fan wrote a hilarious reply, “So he has actually drunk before..tut tut”. He said so because in order to know his ‘post-drunk’ stage, he would need to drink first.

A user has his amount of fun in the comments, “So basically if he gets drunk he’ll just start punching everyone up for no reason, sounds like a normal night out downtown”

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s verbal attack

The 34-year-old Russian fighter was a guest at a Manchester United match. He went on to see United vs Everton back in October 2021 at Old Trafford.

Although most United fans would be drinking under the wave of sadness by the end of the full-time, Nurmagomedov stood sober as a non-drinker. After the match resulted in a draw between the two teams, Alex Ferguson, the soccer manager, offered Nurmagomedov a drink.

The Muslim fighter could have simply denied his offer, putting his faith in between. However, he decided to reply with great humor. ‘The Eagle’ said, “I told him this is not good because if I drink I can smash all of you guys.” He then went on to explain the same in an interview a few hours later.
