

In order to keep themselves fresh and prepared, fighters enjoy many hobbies. While some might like to watch anime, others enjoy playing outdoor sports. Such was the case when the former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold went golfing with the soon-to-be UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier. After playing golf, the former UFC middleweight champion also had some advice for his AKA teammate.

In an interview, Rockhold said, “Learn how to swing a golf club. In the hall of fame, in the retirement space, you better work on that. The rotation, big boy.”
He further added, “You got to take some tips from John, drizzle double Daly, wrap that big belly, wrap around that big thing. Make it sweet and s**y.”
When asked if ‘DC’ had a better swing than Charles Barkley, Rockhold replied, “I mean, what era of Charles Barkley? I mean, I think DC has just begun his era of swing. So I think he is got some time to maturate a little bit into the old or the new Charles Barkley.”

While Rockhold asks his friend Cormier to swing a golf club like pro golfer John Daly, the former UFC middleweight champion will prepare for his return to the octagon.
What is next for Luke Rockhold?
Since his last fight against Jan Blachowicz at UFC 239, Luke Rockhold is yet to return to the octagon. The former champion’s light heavyweight debut did not go according to plan as Blachowicz knocked him out in round 2 and broke his jaw.

It is now reported that Luke Rockhold will face Paulo Costa at middleweight. The bout is targeted to take place at UFC 277 on July 30. However, the 37-year-old believes Costa is trying to move this fight to August.
Both mixed martial artists are on a two-fight losing streak. While Rockhold lost to Yoel Romero at UFC 221 and ‘The Polish Power’, ‘Borrachinha’ fell to Israel Adesanya at UFC 253 and Marvin Vettori.
